I want the site to be as responsible as possible, for example I have not added the details of organisations without contacting them in case of any objections. I have also not added items without confirming the copyright owners agreement or where I have not been able to find the copyright owner, I have stated this. 

If any of the above applies to you and you wish the details to be changed or amended, please let me know and I will make the changes as soon as possible.

I am happy to add details of organisation, clubs, societies and business’ in Gosport. For non-business’ I will add a page of details for business’ I will add the name, address, telephone number to the classified, both at no charge. If you run a business in Gosport and would like more information added, please contact me.

I would like you to feel comfortable with the information and would not be able to have any worries about others, including children looking at the site. I also hope that you will find the information and photos useful.

- It has been suggested that I should have an area for old family photos and for people to contact those interested in a family name. I am happy to add photos in the people section with or without the history. Currently I do pass on e-mails or copies (without the e-mail address) to those who share an interest and unless there becomes too many, will carry on, otherwise you could send me your  family history and ask me to include the e-mail address on the site, with a request for those interested to contact them or you could have a look at RootsWeb  which has a Gosport/ Portsmouth list. I have also been asked about an area for people looking for others, I will do the same with them, let me know whether you want your e-mail on the site or whether you are happy to have it passed on the people contacting or back to the people who are looking for others.
