1) I am sorry for the delay in sending this update, I expect that you do not mind an e-mail less than monthly. If you do not wish to receive any future updates, please let me know and I
will remove your address from my address book. If you do, then later you send me another e-mail, with information or a request for information, please note the e-mail that you do not wish to receive
these update e-mails.
2) I have now added, most of the Gosport business details that I have collected and sent letters or e-mails to, to confirm that they have no objection to be added to the site. If you
discover errors or Gosport businesses or organisations that are not on the site, please let me know, so that I can contact them. To add to the site, in case anyone asks, there is no charge.
3) Have have a
number of photos to add to the site, including a large number from Hugh Beaver, I am sorry to have had them for so long, I hope to get on with the scanning adding to the site over the next month or so. I also have
been e-mailed some and have some of my own to sort out. I feel that I have let the photos slip, due to trying to build up the business and organisation lists.
4) I am starting to be sent more information for
the What's on pages, so I hope it will become more useful, though I would still welcome more. I have started to use it to remind me of events that I want to go to. I hope others will also be able to use it in
the same way.
5) There are now some memories of Harold Tokins of HMS Daedalus, HMS Siskin and Grange Airfield in the early 1950s, you may wish to have a read and perhaps it will bring to mind some of your own
memories of Gosport, which if you would not mind me adding to the site, please let me know. If you have comments about the memories on the site or memories of your own to send, but would not want them added to the
site, I would be happy to receive them.
