1) Please could you do me a favour, I have put Gosport.info in to both Firefox and IE 6 and they have found www.gosport.info. and I thought that would always happen, but found on someone's computer this was not the case. Please could you try it with your browser and let me know the result. I will only put the numbers on the site or in update newsletter. It maybe of use to you if you have a web site as you will be able to go just for the name or the whole thing in advertising.

2) If you have memories of Gosport's past or now live in Gosport with memories that you would be happy for me to add to Gosport.info or know someone who has memories of Gosport that you could persuade to share the, email them to me at ian@gosport.info . You may have seen the item by David about 'Jackie Spencer'. A fairly normal person, but from the story of his life, I feel that your memories would be just as interesting.

3) If you are moving in Gosport and are thinking of doing it with a van and friends, perhaps you may wish to check in to the cost of using a local removal companies. With completion all taking place at the same time it can cause problems. My sister and brother-in-law used Try us Removals at www.try-us.org.uk and found them quick and efficient. Though the people who moved to their old house left it a bit before moving in, but where they were moving to 'were doing it themselves' and not only did it take until 3:30pm before they were completely gone but for an hour or more they had furniture and white goods in the garden in the rain, so will they be buying new cupboards, freezer and washing machine? If you have have a Gosport business and have anything to say, just let me know.

4) This year I have received emails from schools etc asking for talks or memories of Gosport's past to pupils, students, primary and senior schools and others. If you would be happy to do these please let me know.

5) I hope that you will/ have enjoyed looking at the photos of Gosport Buses, most of them have been taken in Gosport in the late 60's so you can see the buildings that are along the side of the road, many have now changed or have gone. If you have photos that contain parts of Gosport or Gosport subjects that you would be happy to have added to Gosport.info, please let me know.
