1) I have added a number of addresses to the list, mainly due to people who have replied to my letters or e-mails asking whether they have any objections to my adding their business name and address etc. to the web site. If you do not wish to receive further updates please let me know: ian@gosport.info. 2) Yes I have added around 90 businesses, though most of them are in Stoke Rd, I went down there once with the book, to note the details, then again to deliver the letters. Did you know that there are at least 116 businesses in Stoke Rd? 3) I have added the What's Ons for the next few months, it seems the next couple of weekends there will be a number of Summer Fayres (Fairs). Let me know if I do not have yours. 4) Do you find the Gosport Maps of use? in the next few months I will have to decide whether to pay the licence fee to use the map for another year. I would like to use Street Maps rather than the Landranger Maps, but would need three. Have you come across any other sites which supply maps for web sites. I used www.streetmap.co.uk (Btex Ltd.) at £29.38 each. 5) If you know of any Gosport business (entry on site) organisation (up to a page on the site) or any one who organises events (events added to What's On)who would not mind the information put on the site, please ask them to let me know. There is no charge, I know you know, but I understand that question does worry some. Thank you. |
