1) Den Budden has provided me with his
research and allowed me to added it to the web site. There are 66 pages of it on Gosport.info many with the story behind the grave. I hope that you enjoy reading it. He is still looking for updates and
additional information on the Graves.
2) I was asked to do a talk about
Gosport.info at the last meeting of the Friends Leesland Park. I think it went OK. I was again asked about a Forum. I did say that there have been two Gosport Forums one have closed and the other seems
to be inaccessible. I have set-up the Gosport.info blog at which I hope I have made so anyone can add messages to, if any problems please let me know and I will see what I have done wrong. I have been bad at adding to but hope to be better at. I feel that the Blog could take the place of a Forum and regular Newsletter. Let me know what you think?
3) Whiteley Forum is a friendly community forum promoting banter, discussion and debate on local issues. We have sections for, Pet Lovers, Gardeners, Parents and a Book Club as well as News, Sport and General Discussion. Though originally for the residents of Whiteley, many people from surrounding areas such as Locks Heath, Botley, Titchfield and Gosport have joined us, therefore we are now expanding the forum to take in a large area of Hampshire. 4) My name is Linda D. Hazzard and I am running a two-day FREE empowering and highly interactive,
motivational course called GOALS (Gaining opportunities and Living skills) on Thursday 5th April and it finishes on Thursday12th April 2007. The times are from 10.00am until
4.30pm, with a free lunch and a free creche too. It is being held at the Nimrod Community Centre, Nimrod Drive Rowner - Gosport.
The course is for unemployed and unwaged residents of
Gosport - people who want to make a different to their lives and get more of what they want and less of what they don't want, get a foothold on life, a job, training a qualification.
