1) There has been an item in The News Portsmouth about the site and I have received a few extra e-mails this week, so some may have seen it. It is not quite correct as it said
that I accepted up to a page of information for both non-business and business organisations. It should be a page for non-business and the details, Name, Address, Telephone, Web Site etc. for businesses.
I cannot complain though, I am very pleased to see something, maybe, I should have tried a bit harder to put something in The News at the beginning. All I sent was an e-mail asking whether they had any
objection to my adding a link to their site, though not Gosport, it is the main local Newspaper for Gosport.
2) Steve Wilcox of Betaprint, suggested a Job Vacancy section to the site, where people of Gosport could look for jobs in Gosport and employers may find people who are fed up
with travelling to Fareham, Portsmouth or further afield. It may even cut a few cars from the A32 rush hour. Currently these will be free.
3) I have been able to list names of Vicars (and Priests in Charge) Church Wardens (and Deputy Church Wardens) at St John Forton from 1880's. Have you any other
suggestions or list that I can use. I used to be involved with St Johns so was able to obtain the information easily, that is the only reason that one was first.
4) There is a short list of Gosport books available at the Gosport Museum on the site. I will try to produce a fuller list for next month.
5) If you know of any Gosport business (entry on site) organisation (up to a page on the site) or any one who organises events (events added to What's
On)or someone with a job vacancy, stories to tell or anything else that would add information to the site, please ask them to let me know. There is no charge, I know you know, but I understand that
question does worry some.
