1) A new booklet entitled 'Trevor J. Tatham, Architect, of  Lee-on-the-Solent' by local historian Philip Eley, is now on sale. Trevor Tatham was an architect who lived and worked in Lee between the  wars. During that time he designed more houses and bungalows than any other architect - and around a hundred of his  homes are still standing today. He was also responsible for shops and offices. Trevor also represented Lee as a councillor both  before and after it became part of the Borough in 1930. He also was a teacher at the Edinburgh House School in Lee. The booklet  is split into three sections - two are concerned with Trevor's life and work whilst the third is a gazetteer of his known  works in Lee. It is illustrated with architectural drawings from the original building plans. This will appeal to anyone with an interest  in Lee-on-the-Solent, but especially anyone living in one of Trevor's houses. Priced just £1.00 it is available from the County  Library branch in Lee High Street, and also at Elson Library and the Local Studies Centre (the old Gosport Museum) in Gosport High  Street.

2) The forms for the Gosporteers Carnival at Walpole Park, 14th June are  now on the Gosporteers website at www.gosporteers.org.uk.There are the forms for organisations, businesses  or individual who wish to take part and another for businesses who wish to help with costs of the event or provide something  for it.
