1) Thank you for supporting Gosport.info over the last year, and please let me have any suggestions for improvements. Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

2) As you may know in the last year I became involved with the Gosporteers when there was an item in The News Portsmouth saying that there would be no carnival in the following year as Lynne Hall would not be able to do it. It was not quite correct, it was just that she expected to have a lot on so wanted some more help. As it worked out she was able to do it. Unfortunately next year she will not be able to carry on. I have sort of been volunteered to look after the carnival, the event is on the 14th June and should be at Walpole Park. If there is anything that you may be able to do to help, for example help on the day or with the floats or by sponsoring a cost or providing raffle prizes, or any other way, please let me know, I will add suggestions to the Gosporteers web site that I will be taking over if we can transfer the .info domain, or to Gosport.info or this email.

3) I have been asked to add the following to this update letter. Please can you put a message in youur news letter, I'm trying to locate a Mark Quigley he used to work at George Kingsbury’s and lived near Stokes Bay, his mother was a teacher. Terry Powlesland

4) There is now a new web site for St John Forton at www.sjef.co.uk but they have done a re-direction of www.sjef.org.uk to that site. They seem to have a lot of information of events and past event photos, a calender of future events. Let me know if you are revamping your Gosport Organisation or Business web site

Best Wishes,
Ian Jeffery
