 - Alan (Snowy) Potter sadly passed away recently. He worked on the buses in Gosportfor fifty years and must have been one of the longest served busmen. He was a great character and very well liked by all who met him. He always had a smile and time for a natter. Keep blowing that trumpet Snowy. - Alan (Added 4th August 2007)

- I am carrying out research for my book, ‘Naval Fuel Bunkers on Portsdown.’. A pipeline connects the bunkers to the fuel oil depot at Forton. The route is: Foxbury Point, down through Frater to the demolished pump house at Bedenham, across to Elson (following the old Priddy's Hard / Bedenham railway), through to Priddy' Hard, across Forton Lake to the Oil Fuel Depot. - We were the class that joined Central  School in September 1956 and 50 years later - on 29th July 2006 we had a  reunion attended by 18 - although I am in touch with 26 who show an interest in  getting together. I would dearly love to hear from any others - we know  there are some still living in the Gosport area that we haven't managed to get  contact with yet. The next class reunion is proposed to take place on 12th  July 2008.
