LEE ON THE SOLENT HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
If you have recently moved into Lee on the Solent, and are interested in Gardening then the Lee On Solent Horticultural Society is for you. We operate a thriving Society with Social Evenings, Coach Trips, a Trading Hut and put on three Flower Shows a year. A Society Newsletter is also published and delivered to all members every two months. All this for a membership fee of two pounds a year.

Shows - Held at Lee Community Centre - Twyford Drive, Lee
* Spring Show on the 14th March
* Summer Show on the 11th July
* Autumn Show on the 12th September

Social Evenings - Lee Community Centre - Twyford Drive, Lee, 7:30pm
* 15th April, 13th May, and 16th September 2009

Trading Hut-Situated in Holly Bank, near the Lee Junior School, Lee
* Open every Sunday and Thursday morning from 10 - 12 o "clock

Calling all members of The Lee Horticultural Society. We will be holding the Annual General Meeting, the 63rd, at 7.30.p.m. in the Function Room, Lee Community Center, Twyford Drive, Lee-on-the-Solent on Wednesday the 11th November 2009. Lee Horticultural Society supports TOOLS FOR SELF RELIANCE – Recycling at its Best

Can you help? Have a look in your loft, workshop and garages. The Lee-on-the-Solent Horticultural Society are looking to its members to donate any old unwanted Hand Tools for all Trades – engineering tools – spanners, pliers, wrenches, etc., woodworking hand tools e.g. chisels, planes, hammers, plus old cameras, sewing machines and typewriters to pass to the local Tools for Self Reliance team based in Stubbington. This is a worthwhile Charity that helps third world countries. Bring then along to the Lee Horticultural Society Trading Hut in Holly Bank, Lee and we will arrange for them to be collect by a members of the Tools for Self Reliance team who will then distribute them or sell to purchase blankets and other essential items for use in the Third World areas.
