I am looking for relatives from the sister of my grandmother, Cornelia
Spijker. She was married to Eward (Ted) Jones. They lived at the Isle of Wight. Cornelia Burghardina Spijker was born on the 14th of December 1887 in The Hague (Netherlands). She was the daughter
of Cornelia Spijker* who was unmarried, but had 4 children, probably of Cornells Burghardus. Two sons, Cornells Nicolaas (born: 1883) and Willem (born: 1891) and two daughters: Jannetje Clara Hendrika
Spijker, my grandmother (born; 1885) and Cornelia Burghardina Spijker.
Cornelia made acquaintance to Ted Jones, who had some kind of mining company on the
Isle of Wight ( Cowes). Cornelia probably worked in a little silver-shop. Cornelia and Ted had two sons, one of them is called Douglas and the other one John.
They must be born between 1910 and 1920 in Cowes or Gosport
The eldest, Douglas Jones was married about 1940 with Margaret and had at least 2
sons. The youngest son is called Ian Jones and he is born in May, June or July 1948, I have a photograph from him, which is taken in December 1949 at the age of 18 months old. This phot was taken by V,L.

The second son of Cornelia and Ted Jones was John, who was married to Barbara.From
both marriages I have a photograph.Douglas and John have served the Royal Air Force, because I have a Christmas card from the Officers Mess of the RAF from Negombo (Colombo).
My parents and also my grandparents sometimes visited the Famiry Jones-Soijker on the
Isle of Wight* The last time my parents visited Douglas and John and their family was in the year 1950.
I shall be very glad if I can find some of the relatives.

daughter of Jannetje Clara Hendrika Spijker and A.F.J. Voorham.
