If you are able to take the Fast Cat to Portsmouth http://www.wightlink.co.uk/ you then leave the railway station and head, towards the harbour, turn left as you leave the station,or Hovercraft from Ride to Southsea www.hovertravel.co.uk where you will need a bus from Southsea to the Hard Interchange www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/southeast/hampshire/home/index.php you have to buy a ticket at the machine, it is £1.80 Gosport Ferry (unless they have increased it in the last few weeks), it is best to have the change if you can, this does buy the ticket for both ways, so you will not need to buy an other ticket for the way back if you still have it. Though if you are only going one way, you cannot buy a single. The bus station is diagonally left, if you want a taxi they are ahead, the walk would be about 2 miles max, through the bus station, then toward the Church (Trinity), keep it on your right, you come to a junction just past Trinity Church turn left, go over the bridge, when you reach the other side the road (Haslar Rd) is a bit curvy, but follow the road around its curves, but do not go down any of the left turns. At a lay-by, with phone boxes by the wall you will come to Haslar security box (just past the phones) That is Haslar Hospital, you will need to show your appointment letter, but at least, they then tell you where to go from
there. I hope I have not gone in to too much detail.
