Gosport and Fareham Football League

The end of this football season completes the Centenary Year of the Gosport and Fareham Football League. Several events are being organised by a Committee including a Celebration Dinner to be held at the Thorngate Halls on Friday 29^th October 2004

The League Officers have one major problem that has to be resolved before we can proceed into the next Century. That problem is to find a new League Secretary immediately as we are sadly losing the services of Mel Watch our current Secretary due to domestic reasons and without a replacement cannot continue to maintain the five Divisions which we have at present.

If anyone is interested in taking up this position or would like further information the following Officers may be contacted.

All the teams involved in the League have known of the vacancy for two years and this final appeal could be the only way to contact the one person who can keep the League in the forefront of grass roots football in the County.                                                                                               Frank Marsden.               (023) 9258 0829

COULD YOU HELP WITH GOSPORT.INFO?

If you could spend a little time even just sending me an email when a business or organisation opens/ closes or the details change. I am looking at a system where others can update the site, but for now if you find a dead link, just letting me know would be a great help.

There are a lot of other things that would help improve the site, so if there is anything you want to do to help please let me know. If you have some expenses to cover, there is a small income ( expect you can see where from ) that could be used to cover those expenses.
