Lee Horticultural Society supports TOOLS FOR
SELF RELIANCE – Recycling at its Best
Can you help? Have a look in your
loft, workshop and garages. The Lee-on-the-Solent Horticultural Society are looking to its members to donate any old unwanted Hand Tools for all Trades – engineering tools – spanners, pliers,
wrenches, etc., woodworking hand tools e.g. chisels, planes, hammers, plus old cameras, sewing machines and typewriters to pass to the local Tools for Self Reliance team based in Stubbington. This is a
worthwhile Charity that helps third world countries. Bring then along to the Lee Horticultural Society Trading Hut in Holly Bank, Lee and we will arrange for them to be collect by a members of the Tools
for Self Reliance team who will then distribute them or sell to purchase blankets and other essential items for use in the Third World areas. Ray Harding
