Bridgemary Celebration of Youth 2007
Bridgemary Neighbourhood Policing Team and Gosport Borough Council have teamed up for 2007 to
provide free activities for young people. Pompey in the Community will again return to provide 13 weeks of free, top quality coaching for young people aged 11-17 years and will kick off with a
tournament day on Friday 1st June. On the day, there will also be demo’s from Rubicon Skate School and breakdancers.
New for 2007 will be 6 weeks of ‘Busta Move in Bridgemary’. Young people have a fantastic
opportunity to receive expert guidance in skateboarding – thanks to Rubicon Skate School, the UK’s 1st and only recognised skate school. For those that ‘can’ dance, Carrie-Anne Sait will be
providing dance workshops, bringing expertise in hip-hop, street dance and much more, to get you to ‘busta-move’! A celebration event bringing all of the activities together will take place on 31st
August.
All activities will be free, in locations throughout the Bridgemary area and open to all young
people aged 11-17 years. All participants will need is a consent form and signing up to the behaviour code, both of which will be available from the following links in the next month:
