Cookie used on this site
I hope the makes sense, but I understand that from the 26th May 2012, all web sites viewed in the EEC have to advise certain
information about cookie use, I hope that it will not put you off using the site, but as I have said all sites should now have this information and there is no change in the way the site has been set-up
or the use of any cookies, just a change in the law.
I have not set-up any first party cookies on this site, as I would not know how to do it, and have viewed the site,
1) with a FireFox Add-on that records cookies and;
2) FireFox with cookies disabled and it seemed to make no difference to the site;
3) with IE 9 with cookies blocked and it seemed to make no difference to the site;
There maybe third party cookies from items and links that I have added to the site, the only ones that I use are 1) Google
Analytics, though I have never got round to setting it up fully. 2) Adfree Stats, which counts visitors with some other limited information, to view what is recorded click the AdFree Stats logo at
the bottom left of the page, then when on their site the 'Gosport Hampshire England' link the information is not passworded. 3) the Search boxes may have some. 4) Twitter, 5) Facebook, 6) Google
Adwords links, 7) Amazon, 8) PayPal, and 9) Commission Junction may include cookies, but from what I have seen only if the links are used if even then.
First Party Cookies
I have not set any cookie up (I do not know how to do it) and as above seems that turning cookies off on your browser does not
make any difference.
